Earn your Intra-Oral Dental Assistant (Level 1 and 2) diploma from one of Ontario’s most recognized dental training colleges.

Students in the program receive experience in the providing of dental care, safety protocols, infection control and the management of client records. CADH is approved by the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act (HARP) and upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to expose, process and mount not only conventional radiographs, but also due to the implementation of digital radiography centres at each operatory, CADH students will also be trained in digital radiography.

Additionally, students attending CADH will have the added benefit of studying collaboratively with dental hygiene students as CADH has the largest dental hygiene training facility in Peel region. Important to note is that students are responsible for providing their own clients for the clinical component of the program. CADH will provide assistance if required.

The program prepares the student to become a Certified Dental Assistant. The successful graduate is eligible and may apply for certification with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association (ODAA) following successful completion of the National Dental Assistants Board Examination (NDABE). Successful completion on the examination is necessary to be eligible to work as a Level II Dental Assistant in Ontario.

Graduates have a broad range of employment options including,but not limited to, private practice, public health services, hospitals as well as opportunities in dental education and dental sales.
